The Annual Red Mass will be held on

Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral.

The Most Rev. Michael William Fisher, Bishop of Buffalo, will be the principal celebrant and homilist.  The Hon. Acea M. Mosey,  Erie County Surrogate Court in the Eighth Judicial District of New York will offer judicial remarks.

This year, Red Mass attendees are invited to bring monetary donations, non-perishable food items, or school supplies for donation to St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy.  Drop off locations will be at the entrances of the Cathedral.

 

School supplies most appreciated by St. Luke’s are: pocket folders (plastic and paper), highlighters, pencil sharpeners, mechanical pencils, spiral notebooks (3 & 5 subject), and binders (2" & 1 1/2").
